I think reviews from other readers in the library are very useful to see that other people thought of the book. I think all libraries should look into providing this service. At the moment, my library does not provide this service.

I think its a good idea for libraries to get involved on social networking sites because then they are more connected to the public and can get more people into the library by promoting themselves.

Exercise:
Investigative Exercise 1.  Library 2.0

Library 2.0 is the term behind libraries using social networking and trying to get the public involved with the library in a larger way than they previously were able to. According to Holmberg, 2009 'Library 2.0 is a change in interaction between users and libraries in a new culture of participation catalysed by social web technologies.'
