Investigative Exercise 2. Blogs
I looked in the Librarian in Black blog. It's a very interesting blog from a lady who works in a library in California, on the legal issues libraries have and the political appointments that are in charge of libraries.
The two most recent blogs were important for different reasons. 1. Sarah shared her experience of living with EDS and information about the disease that is not well known. 2. The review of Useful,Usable, Desirable: Applying user experience design to your library by Aaron Schmidt and Amanda Etches conveys a users perspective and covers these areas: signage and wayfinding, physical space, service points, policies and customer services, online presence and using the libraries.
ReplyDeleteThe use of blog for libraries is a great marketing tool for their services. If you want to spark a special interest in your library, spread it on your blog.
